27-10-09 HSI Afternoon Trading

Afternoon HSI is sideway market, trying hard to nibble at the market. Short @ 22200, TP@ 22170 seems to be a good trade, with 50pts profit. It is the only chance available for the day anyway.

The trade today ends with a 10pips win for 2nd contract, which is a breakeven trade for 2nd position. Thus total win for today is 40pips.

27-10-09 HSI Morning Trading

Today we see a big big drop in the opening (600pts drop), which makes trading an extremely difficult decision to make.

Will price goes back up to fill the gap, will price continue to drop drastically? More than 500pts drop always posts a problem for my strategy, which is trading based on differential changes.

Thus I decided to wait for a while, and let price settle down after 10.15am HK time. 22200 seems to be the strong support for the session. At 11.40am, I made a long @ 22200, assuming a double bottom. TP1 is at 22250, which is later done at 11.45am. TP2 is at 22300, which was missed. Price went back down to 22200, and 2nd contract exits with a breakeven.

Thus total win for the morning session is 50pts profit (HK$500 for HSI Mini contract).

27-10-09 EURUSD Trading

An ascending triangle breakout to the upside, after a drastic drop last night.
We enter a long @ 1.48844 (Market order) after seeing a breakout. 1.4880 will be ideal, but there's always a risk of missing the trade using limit order, queue at strategic spot. the trade is done at 22.30pm Chicago time.

At 2.00am Chicago time, the 1st Take profit pt was hit, with 30pips profit. The TP1 pt was 1.49150. Then we shift Stop Loss to 10pips profit @ 1.48944. And let the profit run towards TP2, which is at 1.49350 (50pips profit).
